Alcohol drinks valued at over N100 million were seized and destroyed in Kano state. The state commandant, Shiekh Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn, conducted the drill in Kalebawa in the Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of the state.
The commander Described that the drinks were destroyed after receiving a court order.
He claimed that the deed was part of the board’s attempts to control the use of alcohol within the state.
Muhammad Sani also added that the Goods were seized after multiple actions were carried out across the state’s 44 local governments.
He further said that the command will continue to step up its efforts to combat all sorts of social vices throughout the state.
